Training and development
People are the heart of our company. Therefore, TNT provides training on different levels to keep the work challenging for our employees and to get the best out of our people. Below some highlights of a few of our programmes.
TNT Express
In the TNT Express Training Centre, we develop global training programmes for our employees including management, in conjunction with business unit experts. This ties in with both the Investor In People Programme and the TNT Express vision and strategy. Local business units also offer their own training programmes based on the Investor In People principles of Planning, Action, Evaluation and Commitment. Additionally, TNT Express Germany has its own TNT Academy that offers many in-house programmes such as sales training.
One of our global programmes is the ‘Voice of the Customer’ (VOC) training.
VOC will:
Create cross-functional awareness, in all employees, of customer focus as part of the strategy of TNT Express and what it entails.
Support the employees, with customer focus tools & techniques, in actively contributing to the ultimate customer experience, whether internal or external.
TNT Post
Within TNT Post (Mail), we offer a range of different training programmes and assessment centres, linked to the skills and business knowledge we need at four different management levels.
Level 1: is designed for recent graduates who will enter our Young Executive Programme
Level 2: is related to our Career Development Centre and different career programmes as well as perspective broadening programmes
Level 3: is for senior management and involves career training with The Rotterdam School of Management
Level 4: consists of tailor made programmes, with TNT top management sharing their experience, business knowledge and business cases.
To create a single leadership culture, our HR communities within TNT Post, TNT Express and our Head Office are working together on the TNT framework for leadership development.
