TNT N.V. is currently listed and traded on the Amsterdam stock exchange, Euronext Amsterdam. 611 million TNT shares were traded in 2007, compared to 511 million in 2006. TNT is also included in the AEX index. This includes the top 25 companies in the Netherlands, ranked by turnover in the stock market and free float.
TNT was also previously listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). We de-listed from that exchange on 18 June 2007, after deciding the costs and requirements of the listing were no longer justified by the low trading volume in our shares. We ended our US reporting obligations at the same time. By operation of law, TNT’s deregistration became effective 90 days after filing – i.e. on 16 September 2007. Since then, TNT’s ordinary shares have only been listed on Euronext Amsterdam.
