Opening of TNT China university

TPG and unions agree new collective labour agreement
TPG, the largest private sector employer in the Netherlands, and the negotiators for the trade unions ABVAKABO FNV, BVPP, CNV Publieke Zaak and VPP have reached an agreement on a new collective labour agreement.

TPG acquires remaining 50% stake in unaddressed mail network Höfinger Haushaltswerbung in Germany
Mail, express and logistics company TPG N.V., through its subsidiary TPG Post Holdings (Deutschland) GmbH in Germany, has acquired the remaining 50% stake in Höfinger Haushaltswerbung GmbH. Höfinger provides services for unaddressed mail in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. TPG had previously obtained a 50% stake in Höfinger at the end of 2001.

LG renews contract with TNT Logistics in Italy
LG Electronics, the Korean electronics giant has signed a renewal contract with TNT Logistics in Italy. TNT Logistics will continue for another three years to act as the sole logistics provider in Italy for LG. The activities include the operations of goods receiving, handling and storage, order preparation, dispatch and returns management for the entire range of products marketed by LG Electronics, which are high value products such as white goods (refrigerators and washers), TV sets, PC’s, laptops, LC screens and cell phones, throughout Italy.

TPG website ranks third in Europe
According to Webranking 2004, the TPG website ranks third among the best corporate web sites in Europe, up from number 15 in 2003. A total of 482 companies were reviewed by 147 analysts, who rated the sites on 111 criteria. The 2004 criteria put more emphasis on corporate social responsibility and corporate governance.

Michelin Siam awards contract to TNT Logistics
TNT Logistics has been awarded a contract by Michelin Siam Marketing and Sales Co., Ltd. to handle logistics functions for its two tyre production plants in Thailand, as well as its domestic and export warehouse facilities. The awarding of this contract further strengthens TNT's position as a leading provider of logistics services to the tyre sector
