Global Reporting Initiative
TNT reports on its sustainability in accordance with the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative as far as relevant for our company and industry. Started in 1997 by the Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies (CERES), the GRI became independent in 2002. The GRI is an official collaborating centre of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and works in cooperation with the UN Global Compact.
The GRI’s mission is to develop and disseminate globally applicable sustainability reporting guidelines. These guidelines are for the voluntary use of organisations and to enable them to report on the economic, environmental and social dimensions of their activities, products and services.
